Inside

If you're looking to escape from the doldrums of daily life, head to the Wooden House, where you'll find yourself ensconced in rolling hills. A contemporary wooden-clad barn-style property, open-plan living space upstairs to really maximise the views, combines with minimal, yet comfortable bedrooms downstairs.

• Style: Light-filled spaces combine with chunky furniture and roaring wood burners.
• Bedrooms and Bathrooms: Seven bedrooms; two king size rooms (one en suite), two double rooms, 1 twin room and two bunk-bedded room. The bedrooms are divided to different ends of the barn with the pool located between. Four bedrooms are downstairs at one side of barn and at the other side there are 3 bedrooms upstairs. In addition to the en-suite there is a family bathroom including bath and shower cubical, plus there is a wetroom and 2 x W.C's.
• For Relaxation: Take in the views of the surrounding countryside through the expansive sitting room windows. If you really want to be pampered, then holistic treatments can be arranged at an additional cost.
• For Recreation: There's the pool of course! Large enough to do laps, or equally fun for a splash around, whatever the weather. There's also a sauna, spa and aroma steam unit for guests to use. Off road parking.

Food and Wine

• DIY: The property is offered on a self-catered basis, with a welcome hamper on arrival. With an open plan sitting room/kitchen, there's no need for the chef to feel excluded when it comes to creating a culinary treat.
• Eating In: fabulous recommended chefs can take the strain in the kitchen for that celebratory meal.
• Eating Out: There is a  pub called 'Wagon and Horses' only about 2 miles away which provides  great traditional food.

Outside

Relax in the spa bath, fun even on a winter's day! For little ones, there's a lawn to the front of the property, which is fully enclosed.

• On the map: The property is located in mid-Wales east of the Cambrian Mountains in Powys, Approximately 30 miles from Llandrindod wells, with easy access just a couple of miles from the B4568 at Llanllwchaiarn.
• By car: About 3.5- 4 hours from London
• By train: The nearest train station is Newtown, within just a few minutes drive.
• By air: The nearest airports are Cardiff international or Bristol, both about 3 hours away.

Out and About

• There's plenty to amuse energetic adrenalin junkies in the local area; from climbing to mountain biking, quad trekking to white water rafting.
• Don your walking boots and take to the hills, there are some fantastic walks to be enjoyed in the local area.
• Take to the water: sailing, windsurfing and white water rafting can be enjoyed within a short distance of the property.
• For those wanting a less intense blast of fresh air, fly fishing is available within one mile of the house, with coarse and river fishing within 10-miles.
